Hap Seng Trucks Distribution (HSTD) has launched the Fuso FJ Nationwide Tour 2026, giving customers an exclusive, in-person look at the truck series across dealerships in Johor, Selangor, and Penang from September 11 to October 9.

The tour is running in two legs. The first leg, from September 11 to 25, is currently underway at BP United Truck & Auto Sdn Bhd in Batu Pahat, Johor; Awesome Trucks Enterprise Sdn Bhd in Rawang, Selangor; and Huan Sin Cycle Motor Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
The second leg, from September 25 to October 9, will continue at Sagito Motor (M) Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru, Johor; SV Drive Force Sdn Bhd in Puchong, Selangor; and Kee Huat Auto Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
HSTD introduced two Mitsubishi Fuso FJ Series models, the FJ 1926R and FJ 1928R, to the Malaysian market in July 2026. Both trucks are powered by a 6.4-litre 6S20 diesel engine, capable of delivering strong pulling power, fuel efficiency, and durability for demanding operations.
The FJ 1926R produces 188 kW (260 hp) of power and 900 Nm of torque, while the FJ 1928R delivers 210 kW (280 hp) of power and 1,120 Nm of torque. Both trucks’ low-end torque, from 1,200 Nm to 1,600 rpm, ensures smooth acceleration and reliability even under heavy loads.
The FJ 1926R is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a genuine Fuso power take-off, while the FJ 1928R uses a 9-speed manual transmission with a crawler gear. Gross vehicle weight for both models is 19,000 kg, and both are Euro V compliant.
Driver-focused features include a fully suspended cabin, an air-suspension driver seat, and front and rear stabilisers, with anti-lock brakes fitted as standard. The FJ Series, including the new two models, carries a warranty of five years or 400,000 km, whichever comes first.
HSTD described the Fuso FJ Series as the truck that offers the strength and versatility required by Malaysian businesses operating in various industries.
