Representatives from the Johor Trucking Association (JTA) attended the Sesi Libat Urus (Engagement Session) held by the Johor State Government on April 30, 2026, where they discussed key issues facing the logistics industry.
Johor Trucking Association Advocates for Policy Transparency
The event brought together not only industry associations like the JTA, but also various state agencies and local authorities. The discussion centred on three key areas: government service delivery and communication mechanisms, operational challenges faced by businesses, and efficiency and transparency in policy implementation.
JTA used the opportunity to raise concerns faced by the transportation and logistics industry and provide constructive criticism aimed at achieving solutions to support sustainable industry growth.
“We would like to express our appreciation to the Johor State Government for providing this valuable platform for direct engagement, fostering stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors,” the association said.
JTA also said it will continue to follow up on the matters discussed to ensure that its members’ voices are heard and the industry’s interests are well represented.
