Daihatsu Malaysia has extended the Daihatsu Mobile Service to cover the Northern region with a new expansion to its Butterworth branch.

Daihatsu Mobile Service Receives Positive Response

Service centres are still vital resources when operating service bays, however, in an era where vehicle uptime is of the essence, more and more service providers are moving towards expanding their service capabilities with mobile service trucks.

In its effort to live up to its tagline: ‘We Bring Service to Your Doorstep’, Daihatsu Malaysia has extended the Daihatsu Mobile Service to cover the Northern region with a new expansion to its Butterworth branch.

“Initially offered to Klang Valley, Johor, Ipoh and Kota Kinabalu, the Daihatsu Mobile Service has seen a positive response in mobile service appointments made while customer feedback has focused on the forward-looking approach to the mobile service initiative. We saw this potential business showing increasing demand, which led to us extending this service to our Daihatsu Butterworth branch as part of our strategic move to capture the Northern region market,” said Managing Director Arman Mahadi.

Convenience, Arman stressed is the primary benefit offered by Daihatsu’s Mobile Service. “Our on-site fleet and vehicle servicing can be scheduled at a time that is convenient for the customer.  It eliminates travelling time to the workshop, which means efficient time management for the customer. There are no additional on-site charges, and customers can enjoy a free 12-point on-site inspection. Additionally, both safety and quality are assured, as all the services are carried out by professionally trained and certified mobile service technicians who use only genuine Daihatsu parts. The parts come with up to 6 months wear or 10,000 km usage warranty, whichever comes first.”

To increase customer confidence, Daihatsu Malaysia will be implementing Covid-19 preventive health protocol standards when servicing on-site. Temperature checks, hand washing, the mandatory wearing of facemasks and maintaining social distancing will all be part of their standard operating procedure. (SOP).

The operating hours for the Daihatsu Mobile Service are from Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.  Customers are required to book their mobile service appointment 3 days in advance online at www.daihatsu.com.my or via phone call.

“Other than Daihatsu Gran Max, the Daihatsu Mobile Service is also open to Hino trucks,” he added.

For customers who partake in the Daihatsu Business Fleet Program, he said, will be automatically entitled to the Daihatsu Mobile Service, on top of other perks and benefits comprising a comprehensive fleet programme management with innovative sales solutions and service support. These, he elaborated, include a range of vehicle solutions, Sales & service incentive programmes, extended vehicle warranty, a maintenance service contract, service credit term facilities, driver safety training program, 24/7 Daihatsu road assist, as well as accident repair and insurance claim service. What’s worth mentioning, he pointed out is that there will be no membership fees applicable upon signing up for the Program.

他解释说,大发移动服务是马来西亚大发将其服务的专业知识扩展到公司授权服务中心设施之外的方式。除了为客户提供增值和可靠的维护以提高客户满意度外,这项服务还旨在为客户提供便利,将车辆成本最小化之余,也最大限度地提高车队效率。

北海大发移动服务(Daihatsu Mobile Service Butterworth)的团队由三名技术人员组成,覆盖槟城以及其他北部的主要地区。该公司通过Gran Max 厢式货车和皮卡来提供移动服务,车内务配备全套诊断工具、基本设备和必须更换的耗损备件,以便在现场进行车辆服务。这些服务包括正常的定期维护服务、零件更换如正时皮带、刹车片、雨刮器、电池、减震器、制动液冲洗和引擎诊断。

他强调,方便是大发移动服务提供的主要优势。 “我们可以在客户方便的时间里,为他们提供现场车队和车辆服务,这样一来就能节省客户往来修车厂的时间,从而实现有效的时间管理。我们不会收取额外的现场维修费用,而且还会在现场为客户提供免费的12点检查。此外,所有的服务均由我们经过专业培训,具有认证的移动服务技术人员提供。为确保安全和质量,他们只使用大发的原厂零件,并提供 6 个月/10,000 公里的保修期,视何者为先。”

他补充说:“除了大发 Gran Max,日野卡车也可享有大发移动服务的便利。”

他说,对于参与大发商业车队计划(Daihatsu Business Fleet Program)的客户,他们将自动享有大发移动服务及其他福利,包括全面的车队计划管理及创新的销售解决方案和服务支援。他详细阐述了这些,包括一系列的车辆解决方案、销售和服务奖励计划、延长车辆保修、维护服务合同、服务信用期限便利、驾驶员安全培训计划、24/7 大发道路援助,以及事故维修和保险理赔服务。值得一提的是,他指出,客户注册该计划时无需支付会员费。
