UD Trucks, in collaboration with its exclusive distributor Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd (TCIE), recently introduced the first lineup of complete knock-down (CKD) Euro 5 truck range.
In the fourth quarter of last year, UD Trucks introduced its Euro 5 range in Malaysia. This lineup showcases Euro 5 engines equipped with UD Trucks’ Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology that enhances environmental protection and fuel efficiency. This technology results in a reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) by 60 per cent and particulate matter (PM) emissions by 80 per cent compared to the current Euro 3 levels.
To complement this technology, AdBlue, a safe and effective diesel exhaust fluid used in vehicles with SCR systems to minimise harmful gases like NOx, is said to be readily available at all 26 branches and dealers of TCIE throughout Malaysia.
Partnering TCIE, UD Trucks stands as the first Japanese brand to launch and assemble heavy-duty and medium-duty Euro 5 trucks in Malaysia. These vehicles surpass the Euro 4 emission regulation that applies in Malaysia from 1st April, 2024……

UD Trucks和TCIE推出首款本地组装的欧5卡车系列
UD Trucks和独家经销商合作伙伴陈唱工业用具私人有限公司（TCIE）投产的首批完整本地组装（CKD）欧5卡车系列正式面市，其中包括UD Quester重型卡车和UD Croner中型卡车。陈唱汽车装配厂私人有限公司（TCMA）在泗岩沫工厂组装这些卡车。
去年第四季度，UD Trucks在大马发布了欧5系列。该系列搭载了欧5引擎，并引入可提升环境保护和燃油效率的UD Trucks选择性催化还原（SCR）技术。与目前的欧3 水平相比，该技术可将氮氧化物(NOx)减少60%，颗粒物(PM)排放量减少80%。
为了补充这项技术，一种安全有效的柴油机尾气处理液–AdBlue，被运用在配备SCR 系统的车辆上，以减少氮氧化物等有害气体被排放到大气中。在TCIE遍布马来西亚的所有26个分支机构和代理商均有出售AdBlue产品。
