Johor-based G&L Auto Service Sdn Bhd demonstrated its ambition on expanding its commercial vehicle body repair work business through a notable investment in Josam collision repair system recently.

“G&L Aiuto was established by my dad in 1983 as a workshop that specialised in collision repair for passenger cars and trucks, insurance claims and windscreen replacement. I joined the company after graduation and took the helm of the family business in 2008. The several Movement Control Orders (MCOs) that the government imposed to halt the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic forced us to relook our company’s business focus, strategies and services,” said Managing Director Goh Zhi Sheng.
During the strict lockdown known as the MCO 1.0 (March to May 2020), he continued, all non-essential businesses were prohibited from operating. As the company’s main focus was on the passenger car segment, its business was badly affected as the number of private cars travelling on the road dropped significantly…..

兴利汽车维修投资优胜车身修复科技
柔佛州的兴利汽车维修有限公司，近日展现了其扩大商用车车身维修业务的野心，将大笔金额投资在优胜（ Josam）碰撞修复系统上。
董事经理吴治声表示：“1983年，我的父亲创办了兴利，一家专门从事汽车及卡车碰撞修复、保险索赔和更换挡风玻璃的修车厂。毕业后，我加入了公司，并于 2008 年成为这个家族企业的掌舵人。疫情期间，我国政府实施了多次的行动管制令，迫使我们不得不重新审视公司的业务重点、战略和服务。”
他继续说，在MCO 1.0（2020年3月至5月）的严格封锁期间，所有非必要的业务都被禁止运营。由于乘用车领域是该公司主要的业务，道路上行驶的私家车数量的大幅下降对他们的业务造成了严重的冲击。
“我们意识到公司需要发展更多的其他业务，例如保险理赔和商用车碰撞修复等。2020年，我们的商用车修车厂竣工，2021年，我们便开始查询有关优胜碰撞修复系统的资料。然而，在疫情的影响和不利的商业环境下，我们没有购买任何产品。一直到2022年11月，我们才决定向汶机械有限公司订购优胜车架矫正系统（Frame Press）和优胜卡车车轮定位仪及感应加热器……”
