The ‘Isuzu Smoother Drive 2024’ programme, a nationwide corporate social responsibility (CSR) and truck roadshow initiative, began on 11th March and concluded with the finale at the Isuzu Service Centre in Shah Alam on 29th March.
Isuzu’s ‘Smoother Drive 2024’ CSR Tour Reaches 26 Locations Across Malaysia
Covering a total distance of 3,554 kilometres, 11 Isuzu trucks traversed Peninsular Malaysia and parts of Sabah and Sarawak to deliver donated items to underprivileged communities.
Organised by Isuzu Malaysia and 23 participating dealers, the programme visited 26 locations during Ramadhan as a gesture of support for those in need. The dealerships contributed and collected donations, including daily household goods, non-perishable food and beverages, and clothes from customers, employees and the public.
In Peninsular Malaysia, six trucks, including two medium-duty Euro 5 FVR Smoother AMT and four light-duty Euro 4 ELF Smoother AMT, were flagged off from the Isuzu Hicom Malaysia (IHM) assembly plant in Pekan, Kuantan, on 11th March. 2024年五十铃Smoother Drive活动，是一个全国卡车路演和企业社会责任（CSR）倡议，于3月11日启动，并于3月29日在沙亚南的五十铃服务中心圆满结束。
共有11辆五十铃卡车穿越马来西亚半岛、沙巴和砂拉越多个地区，合计行驶了3，554公里，将捐赠物品运送给弱势群体。
为了配合斋戒月并回馈弱势群体，这项由马来西亚五十铃举办的活动获得了23家代理商的热烈响应，他们的办事处遍布全马26个地点。除了捐款以外，这些代理商还向客户、员工和公众收集了捐赠物品，包括日常家居用品、不易腐烂的食品和饮料，以及二手衣物。
3月11日，六辆卡车从关丹北根的五十铃Hicom Malaysia（IHM）装配厂出发，在西马半岛走透透，其中包括两辆欧5 FVR Smoother AMT中型卡车和四辆欧 ELF Smoother AMT轻型卡车。在这项为期19天的活动中，卡车需按预定日期到达每个参与活动的代理商处，并在不同地点间行驶…….
