MAN Truck and Bus (M) Sdn Bhd (MTBM) has extended its warranty period for its parts and services from one year to two years. The extended warranty applies to all repairs carried out in MAN service centres from 2017, including MAN Genuine Parts, Genuine Parts ecoline and Genuine Accessories installed as part of the repair work. In addition, the two-year warranty covers any service work connected with the fitting of spare-parts. The scope of service is identical to the previously valid one-year warranty.

MAN Genuine Parts are said to be manufactured and tested in accordance with strict quality standards and comes with a high level of reliability and cost efficiency. The quick availability of spare parts also forms an important pillar of the MAN spare-part service. On average, more than 8,000 genuine parts are available in the MAN service centres, including for older models and specialty vehicles, to keep downtime as short as possible in the event of damage.

MAN Genuine Parts ecoline are replacement parts that are fully remanufactured to MAN Genuine Parts standards by MAN, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or by an external service provider. Extensive remanufacturing ensures that the quality of the Genuine Parts ecoline matches that of a new MAN Genuine Part. This ensures that the upkeep of older vehicles could be carried out at fair market value. Just like new MAN Genuine Parts, the Genuine Parts ecoline are available at all MAN service outlets and come with the new 24-month spare-part warranty.
