The Hino TS Contest was aimed at fostering greater skills and knowledge among the dealers.
Hino Total Support Contest Draws 126 Participants
Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (HMSM) recently conducted its yearly event, the 5th Hino Total Support (TS) Contest 2018. Held at the company’s Head Office in Petaling Jaya, the event was aimed at fostering greater skills and knowledge among the dealers and upholding excellence in the commercial automotive industry.
The whole-day event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 38 companies that are Hino’s authorised dealers nationwide. The 126 competent contestants were required to partake in the intensive briefing and training at the Hino Total Support Customer Center (HTSCC) in Sendayan as the optimum preparation prior to the actual contest.
“The key point of our message here is to establish ‘Trusted People of Excellence’ teams with knowledge and highly skilled capabilities to reinforce our Hino Total Support Activity, and with a high level of pride and dignity to represent customer satisfaction from all categories of sales, service and parts,” said Ken Iwamoto, the Managing Director of HMSM, in his opening speech.
HMSM officially announced the as one of the company’s traditions that consecutively gauged contestant’s competency, knowledge and skills in the three main categories of sales, service, and parts, and included theoretical and practical analysis.
Also present was Takeshi Yasuda, Senior Manager of Hino Motors Ltd Japan. He encouraged the participants to learn and embody new ideas and technologies with a constant effort to improve their skills. “Listen carefully to our customers’ voice and satisfy their needs with the spirit of Total Support. Your Total Support is the foundation of Hino’s reliable operation, which would also contribute to the development of society in Malaysia.”
The grand prize winner was Lu & Sons Engineering Sdn Bhd, while the 1st runner-up was Jong Seng Sdn Bhd and the 2nd runner-up award went to Soo Chuan Motor Credit Sdn Bhd.
