Isuzu has long been City-Link Express’ preferred brand of commercial vehicle since the first fleet purchase in 2011.
An official ceremony was held at the newly set up City-Link Express (M) Sdn Bhd warehouse in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur for the handover of Isuzu Malaysia’s commercial trucks. The handover comprised 90 units of the Isuzu ELF 4-wheeler model [NLR77UEE-2E] that were procured to meet the company’s business expansion plans.
Isuzu has long been City-Link Express’ preferred brand of commercial vehicle as seen in the long relationship and mutual trust between both companies since the first fleet purchase in 2011. The latest procurement is expected to improve City-Link Express’ reliable services and at the same time, continue to achieve customer satisfaction.
These 90 units were specifically procured to increase mobilisation at various City-Link Express centres nationwide, including the Cheras Warehouse and Distribution Centre, which offers clients specialised services by storing goods in temperature-controlled environment, before being packed, delivered and shipped to the respective destination.
Atsunori Murata, Chief Operating Officer of Isuzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd, conveyed his ‘sincere gratittude’ to City-Link Express for the continuous support to Isuzu as its preferred vehicle for its business operations. Murata hopes that this recent procurement would further enhance City-Link Express’ day-to-day operations.
To commemorate the special occasion, Koji Nakamura, Chief Executive Offer of Isuzu Malaysia, presented a symbolic mock key and a memento to City-Link Express Chief Executive Officer Ronald Tan. Also in attendance was City-Link Express Senior Sales Manager Colin Tan.
Earlier in February 2019, a training session on product knowledge and basic maintenance was held for City-Link Express drivers at their company’s central warehouse and operating hub in Saujana Putra. The training session was conducted to ensure attendees were well equipped with vital knowledge and understanding of the Isuzu trucks recently procured by City-Link Express as well as learnt the techniques of economical and safe driving.
马来西亚五十铃最近成功将五十铃卡车交付给信递联（大马 ）有限公司（City-Link Express），此次递交仪式是在信递联的蕉赖新仓库进行。这次递交的90辆五十铃卡车车款是五十铃ELF 4-轮卡车型号[NLR77UEE-2E]，此次的采购也恰好配合信递联的业务扩张计划。
在递交仪式期间，马来西亚五十铃首席运营长村田笃纪（Atsunori Murata） 对信递联持续支持马来西亚五十铃及其耐用和经济型卡车系列表示了感谢和赞赏。他相信这次的卡车采购将确保信递联能够持续提供卓越的物流服务并达成其业务目标。
为了纪念这项递交仪式，马来西亚五十铃首席执行长中村幸滋 (Koji Nakamura) 向信递联首席执行长陈显杨递交了一把象征性的模拟钥匙和一份纪念品。此外，仪式出席者也包括信递联高级销售经理陈显龙。
