Isuzu Malaysia announced their revised pricings following the zero-rated GST announcement.
Following the introduction of the zero-rated GST on the 1st of June, Isuzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd have revealed their revised pricing strategy for all of their existing models. The company has stated that, “these new prices will take effect until the implementation of the Sales and Services Tax (SST).”

The introduction of the zero-rated GST was revealed by Malaysia’s Ministry of Finance in the middle of May. The ministry declared that effective 1st of June, the supply of goods and services made in Malaysia, as well as the import of goods and services subject to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 6%, would be reduced to 0% until further notice, technically eliminating the tax in all but name, while launching a new sales and service tax (SST) at a later date.

Isuzu Malaysia Chief Operating Officer for Light Commercial Vehicle, Masayuki Suzuki stated, “With the 6% GST removal, it is the best time to make a purchase and customers should take this opportunity to place their bookings now. There is no better time to own a brand new Isuzu model. We hope that with these new prices and tax structure, our customers will take the opportunity to upgrade, while new customers will be attracted to become an Isuzu owner.”
