NBG Industries Showcases FAW CA2080P122 (4x4) Rigid Truck

NBG Industries Sdn Bhd
NBG Industries Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor and official assembler for FAW Jiefang in Malaysia, launched the new FAW CA2080P122 4x4 rigid truck at the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE 2017).

“The official launch was for the West Malaysian market. In fact, we have been selling this new truck in East Malaysia for quite some time and the response was very encouraging. The Cameron Highland vegetables farm logistics and distribution providers are our main target,” said General Manager Albert Wong.

Compared to pick-up trucks, he said the new 4x4 rigid truck was cheaper and had a higher payload. Powered by a YC4D130-33 engine, the new 4x4 rigid truck had a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 5,000kg, maximum engine output of 122hp/2800rpm and maximum torque of 380Nm at 1400-1700rpm. It came standard with a 1-year or 100,000km warranty.

“FAW has been in Malaysia for more than 7 years and we were appointed by FAW Group Corporation as its Malaysian sole distributor in 2014. Currently, we sell our trucks directly to the customers,” he said.

NBG Industries has a branch in East Malaysia, two self-run workshops and 6 authorised workshops in the Klang Valley. To be different from the others, the company came out with on-site maintenance service solutions.

“We are willing to bring our leading maintenance solutions, including preventive maintenance and minor repair services, to the customers’ location and business premises at their convenience to ensure that their fleet or truck is running smoothly. We would provide all the necessary equipment, work thoroughly at your location and maintain a clean work environment. At present, this service is only available in the Klang Valley.”

To further enhance the convenience, he said the company planned to launch an app that enabled customers to book their service appointments through mobile phones.
