Scania expands its footprint in Malaysia with the delivery of Super trucks and a New Bus Generation to key transport firms.
Aditya Travel and Tours Received Its First Ever Scania
Scania Malaysia has delivered three units of Scania Super, two units of Scania Super XT, and one unit of Scania New Bus Generation to three different transport companies within the first half of October 2025.
The three units of Scania Super G420A4X2NA were delivered to Overland Total Logistics. With 2,300 Nm torque at 900 rpm, the truck is the most powerful in its class. It also offers up to 4.15 km/L, or 8 per cent, fuel savings and up to 69 km/L AdBlue efficiency.
For safety, Side Curtain Airbags and Steering Wheel Airbag are standard features for the Scania Super. It is also equipped with Electronic Braking System (EBS), featuring Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Traction Control.
With this purchase, Overland Total Logistics not only gains access to Scania Repair and Maintenance Contracts, but also the full suite of Scania Digital Services, that includes Scania Fleet Management System Control Package. With the feature, Overland Total Logistics receives valuable insights into its vehicles, including real-time positioning, vehicle performance, CO₂ emissions, service planning, defect reporting, and driver evaluation. Meanwhile, their drivers can access the Scania Driver App and ProDriver.
During the handover ceremony, Scania was represented by Tanna Ong (Solution Sales Executive), while Overland Total Logistics was represented by Muhammad Farid (Assistant Operations Manager).
Meanwhile, the two units of Scania Super XT G460A6X4NZ, which offers 2,500Nm torque at just 900rpm and up to 8 per cent fuel savings, were delivered to EZZ Maju Trading. Mohd Kasrul Hazuan Suudi, Director of EZZ Maju Trading, received the keys from Wong Nyook Lin, Dealer Director of North Region at Scania Southeast Asia, during the handover ceremony.
Similar to Overland Total Logistics, the purchase of Scania Super XTs enables EZZ Maju Trading and its drivers to access Scania Digital Services, from Fleet Management System Control Package to Driver App and ProDriver. Scania Driver App allows drivers to view core vehicle data, submit pre-departure checks, track their driving time and performance, view service appointments, and locate the nearest Scania workshop, while ProDriver helps cultivate fuel-efficient driving habits.
Lastly, the new Scania New Bus Generation officially joined Aditya Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd’s fleet. For the transport company, this was its first ever Scania.
The Scania New Bus Generation can save up to 9 per cent, thanks to the enhanced engine efficiency and improved cruise control with active prediction. It also offers enhanced safety for both drivers and passengers through reinforced chassis construction, along with the latest addition of Lane Departure Warning to its standard safety systems that already includes Electronic Braking System with Anti Lock Braking System and Traction Control.
Rini Sabir Mässgård, Dealer Director of East Region at Scania Southeast Asia, was present at the handover ceremony, handing over the key to the coach to Kamaludin Lani, Director of Aditya Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd. With this purchase, Aditya Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd also gains full access to all of Scania‘s digital services.
