Volvo Buses Malaysia has announced the launch of its new bus chassis, the B11R, engineered to meet the Euro 5 emission standard. The newly developed chassis has been designed to deliver outstanding performance in fuel efficiency, durability, and safety. Equipped with an advanced exhaust control system, it is claimed to reduce emissions by up to 80% compared to previous Euro 3 and Euro 4 standards.
Advanced Safety Features
In addition, the Volvo B11R bus chassis also incorporates a suite of advanced safety features, including the Driver Safety System, referred to as DSS.
Features include Collision Warning with Emergency Brake (automatic braking if driver does not act), Forward Collision Warning, Cruise Control, Lane Change Support, and Lane Keeping Support. Together, these functions provide safety enhancements beyond current legal requirements.
