Thailand’s TSSK Logistics Adds 21 UD Trucks to Support Growth Plans

UD Trucks Euro 5 delivered to TSSK Logistics

TSSK Logistics expanded its fleet with 21 UD Trucks Euro 5 trucks to improve efficiency and long-term cost performance.

TSSK Logistics Currently Owns More Than 100 UD Trucks Units

TSSK Logistics Co., Ltd. (TSSK Logistics), a logistics company based in Thailand, took delivery of 21 UD Trucks Euro 5 trucks late last year in a move aimed at bolstering its annual growth target.

Mr Yothin Trahansri, Adviser to the Managing Director of TSSK Logistics, said the company set an eight to nine per cent growth for the year 2025 amidst global economic challenges.

Diversification, the company said, is the key to stay afloat. Currently, TSSK Logistics provides three different kinds of service, from container transport, which makes up 45 per cent of its business activities, to transporting hazardous materials (25 per cent) and bulk cargo (30 per cent).

For the future, TSSK Logistics aims to become a fully integrated logistics service provider, including container yard services, freight forwarding, and shipping, with a strong emphasis on safety standards and sustainability.

TSSK Logistics considered UD Trucks‘ product to be the best choice to help achieve its current and future targets. The AdBlue system in the Euro 5, in particular, which ensures a more durable engine and long-term cost efficiency, became the main reason why the company finally chose the Japanese truck maker to strengthen its business activities.

“The fact that UD Trucks integrates European-brand technology has given us confidence and led us to choose them for our fleet. At present, out of more than 270 trucks in our fleet, over 100 are UD Trucks,” Mr Yothin said.

UD Trucks said TSSK Logistics‘ decision to purchase its commercial vehicles reflects the company’s vision that prioritises growth without neglecting safety and sustainability. “This will help the company maintain a strong and sustainable leadership position in Thailand’s logistics industry,” it said.
