Scania Malaysia handed over new trucks and coaches to RMK Logistics, UniSZA, Alisan Golden Coach, and Neoliner as part of its July 2025 rollout.
Early July Handovers Feature Scania Trucks and Coaches
Scania Malaysia began the month of July 2025 with a series of handovers, as announced on its official Facebook page on July 8 and 9, each to RMK Logistics Sdn Bhd, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Alisan Golden Coach, and Neoliner Sdn Bhd.
The first three handovers were announced on July 8 with RMK Logistics Sdn Bhd receiving the Scania Super G420A6X2NZ for container application. This marked the first-ever Scania trucks for the logistics company.
With a 13-litre six-cylinder engine, the Scania Super G420A6X2NZ can deliver 2,300 Nm at just 900 RPM, making it the most efficient vehicle in RMK Logistics Sdn Bhd’s fleet with fuel savings of up to 8 per cent. The key trucks were received by V. Ravindran, Managing Director of RMK Logistics Sdn Bhd, from Björn Jonsson, Service Sales and Operations Director of Scania Southeast Asia.
Also on July 8, Scania Malaysia announced the handover of the New Bus Generation coaches to Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA). Shukriman Harun, Assistant Mechanical Engineer of the Vehicle Section at Registrar’s Office of UniSZA received the keys from Mohd Nazri Mohamad, Solution Sales Executive of Scania Malaysia.
The Scania New Bus Generation coaches can reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to 9 per cent through several features. The most significant savings coming from the new Euro V engine can deliver up to 7 per cent savings, depending on engine size, vehicle configuration, and usage.
The coaches that belong to UniSZA are equipped with an enhanced gearbox range, Scania Cruise Control with Active Prediction, Electronic Braking System (EBS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control, and Lane Departure Warning.
The last announcement from July 8 was the handover of three new Scania K410CB6x2NI New Bus Generation Double-Deck Coaches to Alisan Golden Coach, strengthening the partnership between the two parties that have been formed since 2023. These coaches can also save up to 9 per cent in fuel and emissions and are equipped with similar technologies as the UniSZA’s coaches.
On July 9, Scania Malaysia announced the handover of the first two out of seven units of the New Bus Generation—which possess the same features and technologies as the ones handed over to UniSZA and Alisan Golden Coach—to Neoliner Sdn Bhd. The keys to the coaches were received by Muaz Mohammed, Operations Officer of Neoliner Sdn Bhd, from Zulkeffle Kamardin, Solution Sales Executive of Scania Malaysia.
