Scania Malaysia Strengthens Logistics Partnerships
Scania Malaysia recently strengthened its partnerships with four transport and logistics companies, SG Global Logistics, AIW Logistics, Agensi Perlancungan D & Adik Beradik, and Juta Cahaya Gemilang, through the handover of 19 new commercial vehicles.
These deliveries, conducted in mid- to late January 2026, which include the latest Scania Super trucks and the New Bus Generation, represent a shift toward sustainable transport solutions while enhancing business profitability.
SG Global Logistics Sdn Bhd expanded its fleet with five new Scania Super G460A6X4HZ trucks. The handover was officiated by Scania Southeast Asia‘s Dealer Director for the East Region, Rini Sabir Mässgård, who presented the keys to Dominic Wong, the Operations Manager of SG Global Logistics.
In the northern region, AIW Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd took delivery of two Scania Super G420A6X2NA units. Clarence Tan, Director of AIW Logistics, received the keys from Wong Nyook Lin, the Dealer Director for the North Region. Also investing in the Scania Super G420A6X2NA was Juta Cahaya Gemilang Sdn Bhd, which added two units of the truck to its operations. Its Director, Teoh Meng Zong, accepted the delivery from Scania Malaysia‘s Sales Executive, Tanna Ong.
From the passenger transport sector, Agensi Perlancungan D & Adik Beradik Sdn Bhd significantly bolstered its fleet with 10 units of the Scania K410CB6x2NI New Bus Generation. Shah Afandi bin Daud, Director of the company, received the keys to the new coaches from Wong Nyook Lin.
The newly delivered vehicles feature advanced engineering capable of delivering substantial efficiency gains. The Scania Super G420A6X2NA features the most advanced and efficient combustion engine powertrain, utilising a 13-litre six-cylinder engine that delivers 2,300 Nm of torque at just 900 rpm. The truck also offers fuel savings of up to eight per cent.
Meanwhile, the Scania New Bus Generation is designed to deliver up to a nine per cent reduction in fuel consumption and emissions without compromising performance. Its engine efficiency alone contributes to up to seven per cent of those savings, depending on usage and configuration.
To ensure maximum uptime, all the acquisitions are supported by Scania Financial Services and specialised maintenance plans. Scania Repair & Maintenance contracts cover SG Global Logistics‘ fleet, while Scania Inclusive Maintenance supports the other three companies’ fleets.
Another key component of these partnerships is access to Scania Digital Services, which provides insights to enhance sustainability and profitability. Through the My Scania portal and Fleet app, operators can utilise the Fleet Management System Control Package to access features such as real-time positioning, performance monitoring, CO2 emissions, service planning, and driver evaluation. Drivers, on the other hand, have access to the ecosystem via the Scania Driver app.
