Petronas TruckExpert Centres Offer One Stop Service for Heavy Vehicles
Petronas Lubricants International, the lubricants manufacturing and marketing arm of Petronas, is preparing to launch a dedicated workshop chain for trucks and heavy vehicles under the Petronas TruckExpert brand. Malaysia is set to be the first market in the rollout before the programme expands regionally.
The workshops are positioned as one-stop service centres for commercial vehicle operators, covering oil changes, service and repair, tyre and brake servicing, suspension, steering and alignment, cooling and HVAC systems, and electrical system and battery work. The centres will be staffed by highly trained technicians equipped with professional tools and quality parts, with the aim of minimising downtime for operators and drivers alike.
A key element of the TruckExpert programme is the use of Petronas Urania lubricants across the service bays. Engineered using the company’ proprietary StongTech technology, the Urania range has the ability to strengthen the oil film, reduce deposit build-up, and extend oil drain intervals to improve productivity.
No specific dates or locations have been confirmed yet, with Petronas Lubricants International indicating that further details will be announced in due course.
