NEXEN TIRE has announced that its high-efficiency, high-performance summer tyre, the N’Blue S (215/65R16 102H), will be fitted as original equipment (OE) on Kia’s new PV5 purpose-built vehicle (PBV).
N’Blue S supporting Kia’s versatile electric PBV for urban mobility
Built on Kia’s advanced Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the PV5 is designed for versatility, serving as a family car, camping vehicle, or business solution. With its adaptability, the PV5 is expected to become a central model in urban logistics and the mobility industry.
The N’Blue S reflects NEXEN TIRE’s cutting-edge technology, tailored for electric vehicle-based commercial mobility. Engineered for eco-friendly, high-performance vehicles, it offers low rolling resistance to help automakers meet Europe’s stringent carbon emission regulations. The tyre is already fitted on a range of European vehicles and is recognised for its quality and strong market performance.
For the first time, NEXEN has integrated its Sidewall Aero Dynamic technology into the N’Blue S. This innovation improves fuel efficiency, reduces pass-by noise, and supports compliance with strict European environmental standards. A simplified groove design enhances high-speed water drainage and wet traction, while durable construction ensures stable braking and long-lasting performance for repetitive urban driving—key for electric commercial vehicles.
