PT KTB has donated a Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter to SMK Negeri 3 Ambon as part of the KTB FUSO VEP to enhance vocational education in Indonesia.
PT KTB’s Educational CSR Programme Has Been Running Since 2017
PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (PT KTB), the official distributor of Mitsubishi Fuso in Indonesia, has donated one Fuso Fighter unit as a training vehicle to SMK Negeri 3 Ambon (State Vocational High School 3 Ambon), reinforcing its CSR commitment across the country.
The handover ceremony was held in December 2025 and attended by Daisuke Okamoto, President Director of PT KTB; Nurfiah Sopaheluwakan, the Principal of SMK 3 Negeri Ambon; and several other notable figures from PT KTB, Bosowa Corporindo, and Bosowa Berlian Motor.
According to Okamoto, the donation was a form of PT KTB‘s tangible contribution to help improve the quality of education in Indonesia. “We believe that education is the key to producing quality human resources who will become the main drivers of industrial progress in Indonesia in the future. This is in line with KTB‘s corporate mission, which is to grow together with consumers and Indonesian society towards a better life,” he said.
The donation is part of PT KTB‘s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme called the KTB FUSO Vocational Education Program (KTB FUSO VEP). The programme has been running since 2017 and carried out through various activities, including certified automotive training for SMK teachers and students, donation of educational support equipment, and soft skills seminars aimed to prepare students before entering the workforce.
In 2025, PT KTB made three training vehicle donations, with the one in Ambon marking the third occasion. Previously, a similar donation was made in Bali to SMK PGRI 3 Badung.
“We feel the need to contribute actively to the equitable access of knowledge regarding the latest automotive technology to various corners of Indonesia. Therefore, KTB wishes to spread the positive impact of KTB FUSO VEP as widely as possible to beneficiaries in Central and Eastern Indonesia as a new milestone in celebrating KTB‘s 55 years of existence,” said Prasetio Hartono, Director of Administration & HR Division at PT KTB.
Looking ahead, PT KTB is committed to continuing its KTB FUSO VEP initiative by leveraging support from the Mitsubishi Fuso dealer network, as well as the Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors Regional Training Centre (KRTC).
