Scania delivered new Super trucks to Malaysian operators, focusing on efficiency and carbon reduction.
Handovers Conducted Between December ’25 and January ’26
Several Malaysian companies expanded their fleets with new Scania vehicles between December 2025 and January 2026, adding trucks supported by maintenance, repair contracts, and digital services aimed at improving efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.
In December 2025, Mun Chuen Transport Sdn Bhd acquired its first Scania vehicles, taking delivery of Scania G420A6X2NZ trucks configured for container operations under a five-year Inclusive Management agreement. The handover was conducted by Wong Nyook Lin, Dealer Director for the North Region at Scania Southeast Asia, to Wong Chui Teng, Head of Administration and Finance at Mun Chuen Transport.
The Scania G420A6X2NZ features a fuel-efficient powertrain and aerodynamics solutions designed to lower CO₂ emissions, along with safety systems including Electronic Braking System (EBS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control, and LED Daytime Running Light.
The Inclusive Maintenance agreement provides access to Scania‘s workshop network and service teams, with maintenance tailored to operational requirements to support vehicle uptime.
Also in December 2025, Double Horse Tea Merchants Sdn Bhd added two Scania Super G420A6X2NZ trucks to its fleet, supported by five years of Inclusive Maintenance. The vehicles were handed over by Mohd Nazri Mohamad, Solution Sales Executive of Scania Malaysia, to Teoh Wei Lim, Director of Double Horse Tea Merchants.
The Scania Super G420A6X2NZ is powered by a 13-litre six-cylinder engine delivering 2,300 Nm of torque at 900 rpm, offering fuel savings of up to 8 per cent compared with conventional powertrains. Standard safety equipment includes side curtain airbags, a steering wheel airbag, EBS, ABS, and Traction Control.
Meanwhile, in January 2026, SG Global Logistics Sdn Bhd expanded its fleet with five Scania Super G460A6X4HZ trucks, supported by Scania Repair and Maintenance contracts and Scania Financial Services.
The handover ceremony was attended by Rini Sabir Mässgård, Dealer Director for the East Region at Scania Southeast Asia, and Dominic Wong, Operations Manager of SG Global Logistics.
Under the repair and maintenance programme, SG Global Logistics will access Scania‘s digital services, including the Fleet Management System Control Package, which provides real-time data on vehicle positioning, performance, CO₂ emissions reporting, service planning, defect reporting, and driver evaluation via the My Scania portal and fleet app. Drivers, on the other hand, will have access to the Scania Driver app for pre-departure preparations, performance tracking, service scheduling, and workshop location.
