Linglong Highlights Commercial Tyre Innovations at Autopromotec 2025

Linglong Tire unveils commercial tyre lineup at Autopromotec 2025 in Bologna, Italy.

Linglong Tire unveils new van, truck, and bus tyres at Autopromotec 2025, targeting growth in Europe’s commercial vehicle market.

The DuraMaster Van e Was Linglong’s Standout Commercial Tyre

Chinese tyre manufacturer Linglong Tire placed the spotlight on its truck, bus, and van tyre innovations at Autopromotec 2025 in Bologna, Italy, underlining its strategic push into the European commercial vehicle sector. The company also unveiled a lineup of new products across its core brands—Linglong, Crosswind, and Leao—underscoring its commitment to performance, sustainability, and local production.

The standout commercial launch was the DuraMaster Van e, a van-specific tyre engineered for the demands of Europe’s fast-growing logistics and last-mile delivery industries. Designed with low rolling resistance and a high-load structure, the DuraMaster Van e prioritises durability and fuel efficiency, aligning with Europe’s environmental and operational standards.

Equally notable was Linglong’s first collective showcase of truck and bus radial (TBR) tyres produced at its European factory. Developed for long-distance haulage and urban distribution, these tyres meet stringent EU requirements for low rolling resistance, high wear resistance, and emissions compliance. The company highlighted its local production capacity as a key advantage, enabling faster delivery timelines and better regional adaptation.

Passenger and EV Offerings Also Featured

While the commercial lineup took centre stage, Linglong also presented its high-performance passenger tyre, the Sport Master, which recently outperformed several international competitors in AutoBild tests. It recorded braking distances of 25.8 metres in wet conditions and 34.4 metres on dry roads.

Linglong additionally launched the Sport Master e, designed for electric vehicles. It features a high-elasticity rubber compound that improves driving range by 8 per cent and incorporates LLST noise reduction to cut cabin sound by over 3 decibels, offering a quieter driving experience.

A Three-Brand Strategy for a Diverse Market

The company’s presence in Europe is anchored by a multi-brand approach: Linglong serves as the flagship, offering eco-focused solutions through lifecycle carbon reduction and green innovation; Crosswind targets year-round driving needs, with specialized all-season and winter tyres; and Leao, aimed at younger and more adventurous drivers, showcased its latest SUV and off-road models, built for both city streets and rugged terrain.

Beyond products, the tyremaker’s growing visibility in Europe includes partnerships with top football clubs, Chelsea FC from England and Real Madrid CF from Spain, as well as continued investment in its European factory operations. Internal sales figures show steady growth across the continent.

Linglong’s appearance at Autopromotec 2025 comprehensively demonstrated its end-to-end capabilities from product development to market implementation. Linglong will continue advancing technological innovation and industrial upgrading to exceed global user expectations in the future,” the company wrote on its website.

As the European commercial vehicle market grows increasingly focused on efficiency, sustainability, and regional integration, Linglong’s latest offerings suggest it’s ready to compete—not only with volume but with purpose-built solutions for Europe’s evolving transport demands.
