Meanwhile, the various reports on handovers and new acquirement of trucks, as well as new showroom openings are a reflection that the Malaysian commercial vehicle market continues to pick up its momentum after a turbulent few years. These include Isuzu Malaysia delivering the first unit of its newly rolled-out FVR300 6X2 truck to TMC Metal, Scania handing over the first Euro V new truck generation in Malaysia to Xin Hwa Holdings Berhad and the first batch of 60 new truck generation vehicles to Infinity Logistics and Transport, as well as TC Trucks Sales opening up a new showroom in Johor.

We also reported on the recently concluded Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2022 (MCVE 2022), where the all-new MAN TGX model made its Malaysian debut and Scania unveiled its sustainable partnership with its first ADAS and first Euro V in Malaysia. On top of all this, we report on first time participant Michelin Malaysia who showcased their sustainable mobility solutions, whilst Kitar Teliti introduced their Roadone brand of truck tyres.  

For the tyre industry, we have an article from Michael Hutt, General Manager, Marketing and Business Development of Kit Loong Commercial Tyre Group –3R and its role in the future of the tyre industry. Addedly there are two exclusive interviews to get stuck into. One with Highclass Group Executive Director Desmond Kew who discussed their one-stop truck tyre solution, and another with SR Industries Malaysia’s Commercial Tyre Manager on their promotional campaign to raise brand awareness. 

Last but not least,there is a report on Daihatsu Malaysia who have further strengthened their online presence with its first e-commerce digital store named Daihatsu MY OS Flagship Store and the Daihatsu Malaysia Official Store on Lazada andShopee respectively.
