The newly delivered 6 units of UD Quester 6x4 AMT Prime Movers will enhance Bintang’s deliveries of bulk cement from cement factories in West Malaysia.
UD Trucks and its sole distributor partner Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd (TCIE) recently delivered four units of the UD Quester 6x4 AMT Prime Movers to Bintang Bulk Mover Sdn Bhd (Bintang), with another 6 units on the way.
These newly purchased prime movers with cement tankers adds to the fleet of over 50 units of UD Trucks owned by Bintang. The newly delivered units will enhance Bintang’s deliveries of bulk cement from cement factories to various locations all over Peninsular Malaysia.
According to Yap Koon Huat, Executive Director of Bintang, their drivers found the UD Quester AMT very comfortable and fuel coach feature enables the drivers to manage their running cost of the trucks efficiently. The affordability of the trucks and experience of the durability, as well as the uptime of previous UD units owned, added Yap, helped the company made its decision to have UD Trucks as their business partner in their logistics and transportation business.
In Malaysia, customers of UD Trucks are supported by TCIE’s extensive network of 43 services centers and dealerships nationwide which provides the UD Extra Mile Support services comprising UD Genuine Service and Parts, UD Driver Training, UD Telematics Services and UD Trust Service Agreements.
