The production of new commercial vehicles in November 2020 increased from 3,217 units a year ago to 3,938 units.
Based on the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) data, sales volume of new vehicle in November 2020 has increased 7.4 per cent to 56,489 units from 52,584 units, compared to the similar corresponding month in 2019. Of the 56,489 units registered, commercial vehicles accounted for 5,315 units.
Year-to-date (YTD) November 2020, Malaysia’s commercial vehicle sales dropped 14 per cent to 48,500 units from 41,731 units.
Meanwhile, the production of new commercial vehicles in November 2020 increased from 3,217 units a year ago to 3,938 units.
YTD November 2020 new vehicles production dropped 18.7 per cent to 429, 326 units from 527,945 units as compared to previously. Of this cumulative production of 429,326 units, 23,488 units were passenger vehicles.
