“We work very closely with CE Asia to address market needs by introducing our hydraulic lifting, loading and handling solutions to Malaysia. This time, we are introducing our second generation products that are safe, efficient and advanced in technology to help our customers to be well equipped in the ever-changing business environment,” said Rommel Chan, Country Manager of Malaysia, Palfinger Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, in his opening speech.
Taking centre-stage was the new Sany Palfinger SPK 61502 EH knuckle boom crane that is suitable for installation on 4-axle trucks. It is equipped with load holding valves for safe crane operations and optimised lifting performance with the use of a high steel and hexagonal boom design. Lightweight yet robust, the SPK 61502 EH is a reliable and safe product that is fully compliant with European standards (EN 12999). It has a maximum lifting moment up to 57.3mt and maximum lifting capacity up to 21,500kg.
A demonstration of this knuckle boom crane was conducted by Steven Chan, Service Manager of Palfinger Asia Pacific.
Another new product was the SPS 8000 stiff boom crane, which is a longer boom variant for wider working areas and lifting heights. It has a lower seat (on the base) and hydraulic stabiliser for operating comfort. Manufactured with European quality processes to ensure safety and reliability, it is suitable for installation on 2-axle trucks. Other features include an integrated oil tank to provide ease of mounting, strong lifting performance and overload protection system.
Also on display was the T7S hook loader, which the company claimed was a strong and reliable hook loader for 2-axle trucks. It was said to have high performance durability and international standards of quality.
In conjunction with the launch, the company handed over scale models to its sales partners and customers.
