The Limited Edition Isuzu Tragas Were Distributed through A Public Raffle
PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) marked a significant milestone ar the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 by debuting the Isuzu Traga 50th Special Edition, commemorating fifty years of operations in Indonesia. The limited-production pickup reflects Isuzu’s appreciation for decades of customer loyalty and its commitment to serving the Indonesian market.
Finished in a distinct silver-metallic, the Traga 50th Special Edition features exclusive touches such as a “Isuzu 50th Special” emblem and black chrome badging. Meanwhile, the interior enhancements include air conditioning, a redesigned two-tone dashboard, and black seat covers designed for comfort and easy cleaning.
The Isuzu Traga 50th Special Edition is also equipped with a front dashcam and high-res rear camera, providing addutuibak safety through recording functionality while driving, idling, or parked. Another special feature is Isuzu Link, a telematics platform that enables real-time fleet monitoring.
“We present the Isuzu Traga 50th Special Edition not just as a commercial vehicle, but as a tribute to Isuzu’s long-standing partnership with the Indonesian people. This edition reinforces the identity of the Traga as a tough, locally made vehicle enhanced with exclusivity and added comfort,” said Rian Erlangga, Division Head of Business Strategy at PT IAMI.
There were only 50 units of the Traga 50th Special Edition and they were available exclusively in Indonesia. The pickup trucks were already distributed through a public raffle at the Isuzu booth on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
Six Display Units for Isuzu
Alongside the Traga 50th Special Edition, Isuzu is showcasing several other commercial vehicle innovations at GIIAS 2025 under the theme “Partnering Your Business for a Better Tomorrow”. Among the new arrivals is the Isuzu MU-X 4WD, which debuts in Indonesia with updated exterior styling and advanced technology features.
Another display unit is the Isuzu FIFA FVM Refrigerator Box, developed in collaboration with Prima Trans Logistik. This vehicle highlights Isuzu‘s contribution to cold chain logistics infrastructure. The Isuzu ELF NQR, designed with the Jakarta Transportation Agency, has been adapted as a passenger vehicle for the Minitrans Transjakarta network, showcasing urban transport innovation.
Also on display is the Isuzu ELF NMR, presented in a special configuration equipped with a built-in LED screen, illustrating the wide utility of light trucks for communication and outreach purposes. And lastly, the Isuzu D-Max returns to GIIAS in a customised 4×4 version, built in collaboration with Delima Mandiri and JP 4×4 Auto Sport, tailored for plantation, mining, and off-road operations.
Visitors to the Isuzu booth can also explore the company’s expanding digital service ecosystem. The After-Sales Service Corner provides consultation and education on post-purchase support, while the MyIsuzuID app helps vehicle owners manage maintenance and access services. Through integrated features like Isuzu Link, customers can monitor their vehicles in real time, reinforcing Isuzu’s commitment to business continuity and fleet efficiency.
President Director Masayasu Hideshima reaffirmed the brand’s long-term vision. “Our commitment to the future is rooted in our tagline ‘Isuzu, Real Partner, Real Journey’. We will continue to innovate, support sustainable transportation, and provide real value to Indonesian businesses,” he said.
