Isuzu Motors Limited and UD Trucks Corporation will jointly showcase their innovations at Japan Mobility Show 2023 from 28th October to 5th November at Tokyo Big Sight.

First Joint Exhibition for Isuzu & UD Trucks

This marks their first joint exhibition, offering a vision of the future of transportation as envisioned by the Isuzu Group under the theme “Innovation For You – Accelerate the Future of Transport.

The exhibit comprises a Future Tunnel and Future Cube at its core, captivating visitors with futuristic transport concepts. Display areas include View Point, envisioning the sustainable city of the future, and Warehouse, representing the future of logistics. Isuzu and UD Trucks‘ products and solutions fall under three categories: Innovation for Earth, Innovation for Society, and Innovation for Life.

Innovation for Earth: Isuzu Group aims to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions from product lifecycles and business operations by 2050. They are developing carbon-neutral solutions, including electrification, to meet environmental needs while sustaining economic growth.

Giga Fuel Cell: Isuzu and Honda have jointly developed a fuel cell-powered heavy-duty truck to reduce emissions and noise. Production is planned for 2027.

EVision: Isuzu offers a total solution program for customers to achieve carbon neutrality through commercial BEV introduction and CO2 reduction.

Innovation for Society: Isuzu addresses challenges in the logistics industry, including driver shortages and long working hours, by providing innovative vehicles and services with autonomous and advanced safety technologies.

ELFmio: Isuzu introduces the ELFmio, a light-duty truck that can be driven with a standard Japanese driver’s license, aiming to expand the pool of drivers.

Quan GW 6X4: flagship heavy-duty model offers power, fuel efficiency, and advanced features to meet demanding hauling needs.

Quester GWE 6X4: Designed for emerging markets, this heavy-duty truck reduces emissions, addressing pollution concerns in growing economies.
