The leading story in this month’s issue focuses on MAN Malaysia’s launch of the taller and more spacious TM Cab.

As usual we also carry a number of reports on the opening of new outlets and branches, including Isuzu Malaysia’s new retail outlet design following the official opening of the Autoexec Corporation 3S Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Hino Malaysia’s newest authorised 3S centre, Truck Solution Sdn Bhd, located in the West Port area, and Hong Seng’s new Ipoh branch, which was officially opened on 11th November.

Meanwhile, there are various articles on handovers and new truck purchases, including reports on the latest vehicle acquisitions by Sea Hawk, Bill Logistics and Port Dickson based transportation company, Pearl Castle.

On the express bus side, we also report on SuperNice Express, a brand under the Unimax Group, who have received the first industry-leading Scania coaches with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in Malaysia.

Truck & Bus News usually carries several key interviews, and for this issue we had the honour of sitting down with Thomas Hemmerich, Head of Cluster AustralAsia, who is also the Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus Korea Ltd. In the interview, we discussed the readiness of Southeast Asia Electric Mobility, as well as the benefits and challenges of EVs.

Another two exclusive interviews that you should not miss include our discussions with Hong Seng Group Managing Director Dato’ Seri Teoh Hai Hin and Pickles Asia General Manager Joey Caisse.

Last but not least, for the tyre industry, we have an article from Michael Hutt from Kit Loong Commercial Tyre Group on “The Truth About Tyre Quality” as well as an interesting report on Kitar Teliti’s ventures into East Malaysia with Roadone tyres,  the feedback from customers and a new tyre designed specifically for that market.
