Backed by overwhelming response, the Fuso Diamond Contest 2017/2018 returns with its first Mini Draw of the year giving Fuso customers the opportunity to win an all-expense paid trip to Japan that includes visiting the Fuso Kawasaki Plant and Research and Development Centre and service vouchers up to RM93,000.

The contest is very straightforward; we reward customers who have placed their trust in us to help their business thrive. This year’s Mini Draw garnered 1,084 entries and we are truly pleased to see the response being so great. Congratulations to all the winners and we look forward to receiving even more entries for the Grand Draw!” said Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Commercial Vehicles Vice President Albert Yee.
This marks the 5th year of the contest organised by Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Commercial Vehicles (MBM CV), the authorised distributor of Fuso trucks in Malaysia. The Mini Draw was opened to all Fuso trucks registered between 1st January and 30th June, 2017. Fuso trucks registered between 1st January and 31st December, 2017 are eligible for the Grand Final Draw. Customers who won in the Mini Draw are eligible to enter the Grand Draw.
Daily Bakery Sdn Bhd emerged the grand prize winner of the Mini Draw that was held at the Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka. Company Director Tan walked away with an all-expense paid trip to Japan and service and parts vouchers worth RM7,000. A repeat winner, Tan said: “We were very hopeful about winning a prize this year as we registered a few entries for this year’s contest. We have been in the top three before but never imagined winning the grand prize. It’s a wonderful surprise. This is absolutely amazing; thank you Fuso Malaysia!”
Other winners who would join Daily Bakery on the Japan trip include Hap Seng Building Materials Sdn Bhd, Chiap Heng Ch’ng (M) Sdn Bhd, Scanmax Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd and Khalijah & Jefri Enterprise, which were in first, second, third and fourth places respectively. Apart from the all-expense paid trip to Japan, these winners also received service vouchers worth RM5,000, RM3,000, RM2,000 and RM1,000 respectively. Additionally, 10 more lucky Fuso customers each won a consolation prize of service vouchers worth RM1,000.
MBM CV caters to the medium-range commercial vehicle market segment through its Fuso trucks that includes light, medium and heavy duty trucks. The Fuso light duty trucks (FE71PB, FE83PE, FE83PG, FE85PG, FG83PE 4×4) are commonly used for short distance distribution, inter-state logistic transportation and tipper operations, while the medium duty trucks (FM65FJ, FM65FN) are used as compactor trucks, roll-on-roll-off trucks, tankers and for long distance logistics. Fuso heavy duty trucks (FN62FM) are commonly used in quarry sites and as tipper trucks.

The closing date of entry submission for the Grand Final Draw is on the 7th January, 2018. Since its inception in 2006, MBM CV has received more than 9,000 entries for the Fuso Diamond Contest.
