CAPAS Chengdu 2026 serves as a strategic platform for NEV parts, remanufacturing, and regional cooperation within China’s third-largest hub.

Over 790 Exhibitors Set for CAPAS Chengdu Automotive Fair

The 12th Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services (CAPAS Chengdu) will be held at the Chengdu Century City New International Exhibition and Convention Center from May 21 to 23, 2026, with more than 790 domestic and international exhibitors expected across a 53,000 sqm showfloor.

This year’s CAPAS Chengdu is aligned with the upgrades, consumer preferences, and rising demand of Southwest China’s automotive industry, and will showcase new energy, connected, and commercial vehicles alongside product displays and fringe events.

James Yu, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd, the organising company of CAPAS Chengdu, said the exhibition would serve as more than a product showcase. With the rapid rise of new energy vehicles (NEVs) and intelligent connected technologies, the exhibition is a platform for cooperation and transformation that helps companies identify trends and opportunities. This edition will focus on supply‑chain coordination, commercial vehicle electrification, aftermarket upgrades, and the region’s motorsports and culture,he said.

The Sichuan-Chongqing region has emerged as China’s third-largest automotive cluster and a significant new energy vehicle (NEV) hub. In 2025, Sichuan’s vehicle production rose 142.6% year-on-year, with new energy heavy-duty trucks accounting for 7.3% of the national total. Chongqing’s car ownership now exceeds six million, supporting an aftermarket industry valued at around $12 billion, while Sichuan’s vehicle parc is projected to surpass 18.5 million by 2027 with an aftermarket potential of approximately $100 billion.

At CAPAS Chengdu 2026, the Commercial Vehicle Zone will spotlight the electrification of components, aftermarket parts, and repair technologies. In this zone, Chenglong will showcase heavy-duty trucks with lightweight design and intelligent thermal management, Foton will present light-duty trucks for cold chain, express delivery, and smart logistics, and first-time exhibitor Fuda will display drivetrain components for commercial vehicles.

Also, a Remanufacturing Display Area will feature Chongqing Yuxiang, Xinjiang Tongfeng, and Zhongqi, presenting their green circular economy solutions in support of China’s 2030 carbon-peaking goal.

The New Energy and Intelligent Connectivity Zone will include charging solutions and thermal components. Nengtong will present 5G fast-charging equipment and AC/DC charging piles, while Oulang will introduce EV coolants. The Chengdu-Chongqing Dual-City Economic Rim Zone will highlight regional clusters, including Nanchong’s commercial vehicle powertrains, Yibin’s battery industry, Guang’an’s green energy equipment and Ziyang’s hydrogen supply chain. The Repair Zone will also reflect intelligent, green development, with exhibitors like STELLAR displaying eco‑friendly car washing and EV repair tools.

The Accessories & Customising Zone will spotlight lubricants, care products, and performance items for end-users, including Offroad Skyline’s aluminium‑magnesium skid plates, Jiale’s pickup cover for increased cargo capacity, and Xinhui’s TiN VR series films. A Car Customising Festival will blend Southwest China culture with simulators, vintage car displays, interactive tyre‑change demonstrations, and talks on drifting, off‑roading, and modifications.

CAPAS Chengdu 2026 will also host 25 concurrent events covering the supply chain, OEM-supplier collaboration, aftermarket, green circular economy, talent development, commercial vehicles, and automotive culture. Among these, the China Automotive Supply Chain and New Energy Vehicle International Cooperation Conference will bring together government officials, trade bodies, and industry leaders to tackle supply chain hurdles, electrification and intelligent vehicles. Another event, the Chengdu–Chongqing Automotive Industry Cooperation Conference, will foster regional coordination between supply chain, fleets, R&D, financing, and charging and battery‑swap infrastructure.
