MAN Truck & Bus Malaysia presents a strategic plan to Ministry of Transport (MoT) to reduce CO₂ emissions and improve road safety nationwide.
New MAN Malaysia Initiative Targets Sustainable Transport and Road Safety
MAN Truck & Bus Malaysia (MAN Malaysia) recently paid a visit to the Ministry of Transport (MoT) headquarters in Putrajaya to meet with Minister of Transport Anthony Loke and key road transport agencies.
MAN Malaysia said that, during the meeting, it presented the plan to help the country’s transport sector reduce operating costs and CO₂ emissions, and improve road safety, developed in line with the National Transport Policy (NTP) and Road Safety Plan.
“This timely and ground‑breaking initiative reinforces MAN’s role in supporting Malaysia’s shift toward a more efficient and sustainable transport ecosystem,” the commercial vehicle manufacturer stated, adding that, if implemented quickly, especially with rising fuel prices, the plan can deliver immediate benefits to all key stakeholders.
MAN Malaysia also extended its appreciation to its partners, the German Embassy Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MGCC), and Eurocham Malaysia, whose representatives were present during the meeting.
