New Clarios Battery-As-A-Service Model Debuts at TMC 2026
Clarios Connected Services has introduced a new battery-as-a-service model, the Battery Manager Pro, at the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) 2026 exhibition. The subscription-based model is designed to support consistent battery performance through continuous health monitoring, predictive replacement planning, and the automatic delivery of optimum replacement units.
Clarion stated that the service addresses a common challenge for fleet operators, who often lack accurate insights into battery health. This lack of data typically results in batteries being replaced earlier than necessary, wasting the value of premium technologies, or waiting until a failure occurs, which leads to costly vehicle downtime. Battery Manager Pro solves this by monitoring batteries remotely and ensuring replacements are delivered just as the units approach their end of life, allowing fleets to schedule maintenance in advance.

The Battery Manager Pro operates on a fixed monthly fee, providing fleets with a predictable cost structure while leveraging real-time data to recommend specific batteries based on a vehicle’s unique usage profile. By using predictive analytics, Clarios can determine the exact point at which a battery requires replacement, reducing the administrative burden on fleet managers.
Battery Manager Pro represents an expansion of the growing Clarios Connected Services portfolio, which already includes solutions such as Idle Less, Battery Manager, and Trailer Battery Manager. The entire ecosystem utilises the same IoT hardware and cloud-based analytics platform, resulting in a scalable system that operates across all vehicle segments.
