Sinotruk sets a new monthly export record of 16,000 heavy-duty trucks in January 2026, reaching customers across more than 150 countries.
One Million Sinotruk Trucks Now in Operation Globally
Sinotruk has set a new monthly export record, shipping 16,000 heavy-duty trucks in January 2026 and surpassing its previous record of 15,000 units, which was only set in September 2025.
The manufacturer, which has led China’s heavy-duty truck exports for 21 consecutive years, said the result marks a historic milestone for the country’s heavy-duty truck industry. In 2025, Sinotruk exported more than 150,000 heavy-duty trucks in total, an increase of 11 per cent from the year before.
The company said its international reach now spans six continents and more than 150 countries and regions. Over one million Sinotruk heavy-duty trucks are now in operation worldwide, something the company described as “a vivid symbol of China’s equipment manufacturing going global.”
“The export volume of 16,000 units in the first month is a powerful start. Sinotruk has launched the first shot for the globalisation of China’s heavy-duty trucks in 2026,” Sinotruk said in its official statement.
Looking ahead, Sinotruk said its global development strategy for 2026 is built around four core pillars: products, value, ecosystem and trust. Plans include expanding its high-technology product line-up, upgrading brand and service offerings, and developing a sustainable industrial ecosystem encompassing new energy vehicles, used trucks, financing, and remanufacturing. It also aims to deepen cooperation with its global partners.
“Clear strategy and strong strength support Sinotruk to keep moving forward. This is not only an important step for self-transcendence, but also key progress for Sinotruk to become a world-class commercial vehicle enterprise,” the company stated.
