Isuzu Indonesia Recognised for Integrity and Brand Strength

PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (Isuzu Indonesia) has secured the “Commercial Cargo Vehicle” category at the TOP Brand Award 2026, marking a powerful start to the year for the manufacturer.

The TOP Brand Award is Indonesia’s most established brand performance benchmark, currently celebrating its 25th anniversary. Managed by Frontier Research, the award is a pioneer in brand indicators in Indonesia, which measures brand strength based on consumer surveys.

Puti Annisa Moeloek, Head of the Communication Management Department at Isuzu Indonesia, received the award during a ceremony held at the InterContinental Resort Bali on February 9, 2026. The 2026 edition of the awards carried the theme “Respectful Brand”, recognising companies that demonstrate integrity, consistency, and a sustainable long-term vision.

The results were obtained from an independent survey of 10,000 respondents across 15 major Indonesian cities. The methodology evaluates three core parameters: Top of Mind Awareness, Last Used, and Future Intention.

Masayasu Hideshima, President Director of Isuzu Indonesia, attributed the win to the ongoing trust Indonesian businesses place in the brand as an essential part of their operations. According to the latest data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), last year, 25,295 units of Isuzu‘s commercial vehicles were sold.

“The TOP Brand Award 2026 in the Commercial Cargo Vehicle category proves that Isuzu has succeeded in becoming a ‘Real Partner, Real Journey’ for consumers in the country and has become the primary choice. For PT IAMI, the award we received is an encouragement to be able to present the vehicles needed by the Indonesian people,” Hideshima said.
