Sinotruk and J&T Express are working together to advance electric and intelligent logistics in the Philippines.
Sinotruk and J&T Philippines Plan to Work on Charging Infrastructure in the Future
China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC), or Sinotruk, has delivered its first batch of electric trucks to J&T Express Philippines in Manila, marking a step towards electrification in the country’s logistics sector.
The delivery enables J&T Express Philippines to establish the country’s first electric delivery fleet, as the company seeks to reduce carbon emissions and align its operations with global decarbonisation efforts.
The electric trucks supplied by Sinotruk are intended to support the company’s expanding delivery network while improving operational efficiency and lowering environmental impact.
Sinotruk said it provided J&T Express Philippines with electric logistics vehicles designed for performance and reliability, supporting the development of low-carbon and intelligent logistics operations in the Philippine market.
Beyond vehicle deployment, Sinotruk also said that the two companies plan to deepen their cooperation in areas such as charging infrastructure development and intelligent fleet management, with the aim of accelerating towards zero-emission logistics in the Philippines.
