Hino Motors Sales Malaysia has reinforced its commitment to road safety and customer support with a dedicated Safety Driving Awareness Training session for Nippon Express (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, conducted directly at the customer’s site.
Training as Part of Wider Safety Initiative
The training forms part of Hino’s broader Total Support programme to enhance safety awareness among Hino customers within the commercial vehicle industry.
The Nippon Express training session placed emphasis on practical, real-world safety considerations that drivers face daily in commercial operations. Among the key modules covered were: Blind Spot Awareness, Turning Radius Understanding, Human Reaction during Driving, Night Driving Safety Practices, Vehicle Daily Inspection, and Tyre Maintenance, including Wheel Nut Safety.
By focusing on these fundamentals, Hino aims to not only improve driver safety but also reduce the risk of vehicle downtime and accidents, ensuring that fleets can maintain operational efficiency while protecting their workforce.
The programme comes at a critical time for Malaysia, as road safety remains a national priority amid rising logistics activity and heightened regulatory focus on commercial vehicle standards. With more vehicles on the road and higher demand on freight operators, the need for driver-focused safety initiatives is greater than ever.
