Scania Malaysia delivered new coaches to Darul Iman and Selalu Gemilang, and new trucks to JIT Express and BS Fleet.
Scania Malaysia Has Announced Eight Handovers in July 2025
Scania Malaysia continued its busy month in July 2025 with four new handovers announced on July 10-11, 2025, each to Darul Iman Express (a brand under Selesa Transit Sdn Bhd), JIT Express Services Sdn Bhd, Selalu Gemilang Transport Sdn Bhd, and BS Fleet Management Sdn Bhd.
Darul Iman Express acquired a new K410CB6X2NI New Bus Generation along with the Total Solutions provided by Scania Malaysia. According to the company’s announcement on its official Facebook page, Darul Iman Express acquired the bus via Scania Financial Services.
The company has also subscribed to Scania‘s Repair and Maintenance Contract and signed an Ecolution partnership to reduce CO₂ emissions further. Hakimi Haji Ismail, the CEO of Selesa Transit Sdn Bhd, received the key to the bus from the Dealer Director of the North Region at Scania Southeast Asia, Wong Nyook Lin.
Another company that acquired a brand new Scania New Bus Generation was Selalu Gemilang Transport Sdn Bhd. The coach is equipped with an enhanced gearbox range and Scania Cruise Control System with Active Prediction, as well as standard safety features such as the Electronic Braking System (EBS) with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Traction Control.
With its Euro V engine, which alone can contribute up to 7 per cent in fuel savings, the Scania New Bus Generation can deliver up to 9 per cent reduction in fuel consumption and emissions. Muhammad Firdaus Jaafar, the Director of Selalu Gemilang Transport Sdn Bhd, received the bus key from Zulkeffle Kamardin, Solution Sales Executive of Scania Malaysia.
While the previous companies acquired new Scania coaches, JIT Express Services Sdn Bhd and BS Fleet Management Sdn Bhd acquired new Scania Super G420A6X2NZ trucks. The truck. powered by a 13-litre six-cylinder engine, can deliver 2,300 Nm at 900 RPM, which leads to fuel savings of 8 per cent or more.
Each Scania Super G420A6X2NZ truck is equipped with Side Curtain Airbags and Steering Wheel Airbag, along with other standard safety features such as Electronic Braking System (EBS) with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Traction Control (TC).
Both IT Express Services Sdn Bhd and BS Fleet Management Sdn Bhd used Scania Financial Services to purchase new trucks for their fleets. Loh Ka Hong, the Director of JIT Express Services Sdn Bhd, and Phuah Jia Yi, the Director of BS Fleet Management Sdn Bhd, received the truck keys from Scania‘s representatives.
