MAN introduces Meiller’s Trigenius tipper and BE-Combi’s semi-trailer box for its TGE series, now offering 13 certified body variants with full warranty.

Meiller and BE-Combi Are Parts of MAN’s Certified Van Partner Program

MAN Truck & Bus has introduced two new body variants for its TGE series: the Trigenius three-way tipper from Meiller and the semi-trailer combination with a box body from BE-Combi. With these two new additions, the TGE van is now available in 13 different body offers that can be ordered directly from MAN with official warranties.

The BE-Combi body variant combines a 3.5-tonne MAN TGE with a 3.5-tonne trailer. It converts the TGE into a tractor unit with a subframe, fifth wheel, air supply unit, and intelligent braking system. BE-Combi also installs a 3500PLUS single-axle trailer with a lightweight box manufactured by Junge, a tail lift, and a roof spoiler. This variant has also been equipped with safety features such as ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and ESP (Electronic Stability Program).

To operate the BE-Combi variant, drivers only need a BE driving licence. The semi-trailer can carry a payload of around 2,650 kilograms and a load volume of up to 28 cubic metres—an equivalent of ten Euro pallets, making it an alternative to the 7.5-tonne truck.

Meanwhile, the Trigenius from Meiller is a robust, weight-optimised three-way tipper made of Hardox steel that can carry a huge payload. It is manufactured using laser-wielding technology—which joins thin high-strength steels.

When combined with the 3.5-tonne MAN TGE, the Trigenius can carry a payload of up to 951 kilograms. With the 5.5-tonne TGE model, it can carry up to 2,600 kilograms of payload. The Trigenius also features one-tonne lashing eyelets lashing goods projecting over the side walls with a holding force of two tonnes.

Both BE-Combi and Meiller have been certified by Bodybuilder Management Van following a multi-stage testing process, making them parts of the new Certified Van Partner Program. The tests include the quality of the finished vehicle, the compliance check by MAN specifications, and the completeness and maintenance of the company profile on ABBI (MAN‘s body manufacturer platform). The certificate is valid for three years and will be monitored frequently.

“As a truck manufacturer, we have established a close relationship with the body manufacturers for decades. With the Certified Van Partner Program, we are now creating a reliable basis for quality, efficiency and trust – to the benefit of our van customers and partners,” said Roy Tietze, Head of Van Bodybuilder Management at MAN Truck & Bus.
