Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd recently handed over 10 Hino refrigerated trucks to Quanterm Logistics Sdn Bhd.

Quanterm Logistics Invests in Hino Trucks

These 10 trucks include four light-duty commercial vehicles (LCV) Hino 300 Series Pro XZC730, four medium-heavy duty commercial vehicles (MCV) 500 Series GH8JR1A and two prime movers 500 Series SG2PE1B. Held at Quanterm Logistics head office, the event was attended by members of both companies’ top management.

This is the first time Quanterm Logistics has purchased trucks from Hino. Quanterm Logistics Managing Director John Tay Chong Yen said: “Hino is committed to providing our drivers comprehensive training and its nationwide service network would give us convenient accessibility to service maintenance and after-sales support.”

Hino Managing Director Atsushi Uchiyama said: “As a truck provider, we need to fully understand a customer’s business and needs. Transporting fresh and frozen goods requires expertise, especially in temperature control, and Quanterm Logistics has set a high standard of traceability and requirements. With our tagline ‘Transporting Every Happiness’, we are particular on our trucks in meeting those needs and standards, and we believe it would contribute to our customers’ smooth operation and the on-time delivery would contribute to their customers’ satisfaction.”

The business-to-business (B2B) strategy, he continued, was a chain of business in which the customers’ customers were their customers too. “We always aim to provide them the satisfaction and happiness to end-users, as described by our tagline. Also, in after-sales services, our teams are always ready to support and advise our customers so they could optimise profit and control costs.”

Quanterm Logistics was founded in 1992 as a freight forwarding company in domestic and international markets that covered Southeast Asia and Oceania.
