headquarters in Petaling Jaya and the other 2 at HTSCC in Sendayan. “We are looking to hire one more trainer to be based in Sendayan,” he added.
For a start, HTSCC would offer extensive training courses to equip truck own- ers with product knowledge, safety and driving techniques. Hino’s training curriculum includes theoretical and practical courses. Its current curriculum encompasses:
i) Safety & Eco-cien Driver Training:
This programme highlights Hino’s philosophy of creating a healthy en- vironment by reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emission. Skills and tech- niques essential for safe and economical driving that would lead to in- creased business profitability would be taught.
ii) Driver Familiarisation Training
This programme stresses skills and knowledge that ensure customers are familiar with vehicle periodic maintenance schedule, warranty and daily inspection.
iii) Safety Driver Training
This one-day programme emphasises safety measures to be taken while on the road.
Hino intends to gradually increase the modules of its programme with four new courses that are:
a) Driver Trainer Training
b) Driving & Human Reaction Training
c) Night Driving Training
d) Drivers Aptitude Test/Training
Drivers would be tested on fuel-efficient driving, safety driving and driving training in different road conditions and situations as well as safe driving tech- niques when driving at night.
There are also plans to provide sufficient training to equip drivers with knowl- edge on how and when to react in a conflict situation driving on the road and during emergencies in the near future, leading to a mind-set change in pri- oritising safety and ultimately helping vehicle owners save overall business costs and lives of their drivers.
Hino is currently the number one brand among truck makers in Malaysia with a market share of 35.7 per cent. In 2016, Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) sold 5,870 medium and heavy-duty vehicles. This year the company expects to sell more than 6,000 vehicles.

作为开始,该公司为卡车车主提供产品,安全
和驾驶技术认知的广泛培训课程。这些培训课

驾驶员将在不同的路况和情况下进行各式各样
的测试,例如燃油效率驾驶,安全驾驶和驾驶
培训,以及夜间驾驶时的安全驾驶技术。
此外,该中心也计划在不久的将来提供一系 列课程,好让驾驶员拥有足够的专业知识, 学习应对路上的紧急突发状况,改变司机的 心态,建立良好的安全驾驶意识,以便最终 协助公司减少业务经济损失和减少车祸所造 成的伤害。
