AutoRFID Establishes New Marketing Department
Shah Alam based company Auto RFID So- lutions Sdn Bhd has announced that it has formed a new marketing department with a view to developing new markets for its range of RFID, tyre analysis and fleet management tools. According to Managing Director, Ahilan M Thiya- garajah the company has traditionally been very technically oriented, now looking to be marketing oriented too. As a result, the company has appoint- ed Thariq Dinar to the role of Marketing Manager.
AutoRFID Solutions Sdn Bhd is a systems inte- gration provider with a technological background. The company started out with complete RFID so- lutions has over time expanded into areas of fleet and tyre management. The company has a com- plete web-based RFID solution which has found application in mines in Indonesia as well as on the monorail system in Mumbai, India. However, according to Ahilan, the company’s technologies are also suitable for use on truck fleets. The com- pany offers various different products for different budgets and applications including a number of tyre related tools.
These include wireless tread depth and tyre pressure inspection tools, tyre temperature and pressure monitoring systems, dynamic vehicle information systems, live vehicle location tracking devices, tyre diagnostics laser software, tyre in- ventory software and tyre maintenance software.
Key products include the RFID Tyre Inspection Probe, a hand-held wireless tread depth, tyre pressure and UHF RFID reader aimed at fleet management market, several TPMS systems, variously called Trucksense, iTrack, and Pres- sure Pro and TAC-Scan, a laser-operated tyre diagnostic tool aimed at measuring tracking and maximising tyre tread life.
