Being a one-stop solution provider in the commercial tyre industry, Kit Loong Commercial Tyre not only has the total commercial tyre service process, but also specialises in the development and production of re- treading raw materials including pre- cure tread liner (PTL), cushion gum, repair ropes, camelback and mas- terbatch. Complying with the MS224 specification on all products, Kayel’s PTL is specifically formulated for different specifications. Kit Loong Commercial Tyre stress that safety is always their top concern, and they will not compromise on product qual- ity and performance, especially cas- ing repair & maintenance standards.
To meet the different customer re- quirements, Kayel Tyre Retread (KTR) will sort and grade casings according to their type, brand, con- ditions as well as shearography scan results. They will apply casing gradings and product applications to determine appropriate retread solutions, all with the guide and control of an intelligently devel- oped software support, which is as yet not seen or available elsewhere in the world.
Currently KTR offers 5 brands in the
Sigma multi brand retread solution.
Their flagship brand is Kayel X-
Rayted, using their top grade propri-
etary PTL, and most suitable for regional haul and highway speed usage. Kaymile X-Rayted, using another premium grade PTL, is also designed for regional haul and highway speed usage, but is recommended for casings that do not need long-life retread, e.g. casings sent for second round of retread. Urbantrac X-Rayted, using their medium grade PTL, is targeted at urban low speed usage like waste dis- posal trucks and “bas kilang” (factory bus), etc, or in other words, for robust applications where speed and heat build- up are low. Urbantrac, using their economic grade PTL, is earmarked for off-road, rough terrain, low speed extreme condition usage, where casings are typically of poorer yet still-qualified-for-retread conditions, but will require exten- sive repairs. Loritana, also using their economic grade PTL, is mainly targeted for earthwork trucks running within con- struction sites.
However, the company stress that all casings have to undergo a rigorous and thorough inspection process. KTR has a multi-brand strategy to meet the wider re- quirements of their customers. If a casing fails to meet the company’s high inspection standards of the various brands’ retreading process, they will not do it, as safety is their upmost concern.

目前,吉隆轮胎复新的西格玛多元品牌翻新解决方案提供5种 品牌。Kayel X-Rayted是旗舰品牌,采用的是该公司最顶级 的专利预硫化胎面胶,适合长途的区域性用途和高速公路的 行驶速度。Kaymile X-Rayted,采用的是另一种优质的预硫 化胎面胶,也是特别为长途的区域性用途和高速公路行驶速 度所设计的,但却建议用于不需要长翻新使用寿命的胎体, 如第二次翻新的胎体。Urbantrac X-Rayted,采用中级的预 硫化胎面胶制成,适合城市里低速行驶用途如废物处理卡车 和工厂客车等,或换句话说,适合低速和生热较低的功能强 大用途。至于Urbantrac采用的是经济预硫化胎面胶,适合越 野、崎岖的地形,低速极端情况的驾驶。胎体基本上的品质 较差,需要进行大修理,但却仍符合翻新要求。最后是Lori- tana,采用的也是他们的经济预硫化胎面胶,主要是以建筑 工地运跑的土方卡车为目标。
