Nice豪华长途旅巴，Konsortium Transnasional 有限公 司(KTB)是首家安装上被称为BlueICETM尖端信息娱乐系 统的公共运输公司。这个新的“触摸板”(Touch Tab- let)信息娱乐系统，是由本地多媒体超级走廊公司Bluesig- nage所研发的。
“6年前，我们是首家为乘客提供个人化娱乐的公司，而今天 我们再次为这个行业设立新的标准，为客户提供车上信息娱乐 系统。今年3月，我们将为45部Nice豪华长途旅巴，接着是150 辆的Plusliner和 Transnasional旅巴安装BluICE车上信息娱 乐系统。 目前，这个耗资2，000万令吉的计划已经完成了30% 。”KTB执行董事及首席营运长东姑哈斯玛迪(Tengku Has- madi Tengku Hashim 在推介礼中表示。
将一个7寸的Android触摸屏板，安装在每一张座位的后面，让 乘客能够在旅途中观赏电影、听歌、玩游戏、看新闻、更新面 子书甚至上网。该系统也备有GPS追踪系统，让乘客可以知道 目前所处的地点和预期可抵达的时间，就如机内的系统。
东姑哈斯玛迪补充说，客户还可以在车上采用Wifi，不过公司 只提供免费使用至50MB。乘客如要继续使用，就得支付额外的 费用。
“我们将把这项服务包含在Nice的服务配套中，作为我们所提 供的其中一项附加值服务。因此，Nice的车资不会增加。然而 由于Plusliner和Transnasional旅巴的车资很低，乘客必须支 付一定的费用来使用这项服务。”
Nice Executive Coach, a member of Kon- sortium Transnasional Berhad (KTB), is the first public transportation company to install the state-of-art infotainment system, known as BlueICE TM. This new “Touch Tablet” on-board
infotainment system has been locally developed by Bluesignage, an MSC status company.
“ We were the first company to provide person- alised entertainment to its passengers 6 years ago, and today we again setting the industry benchmark to be the first in providing “touch tablet” on board infotainment to our customers.
By March, a total of 45 Nice Executive Coaches will be installed with BlueICE on-board infortain- ment systems to be followed by an additional 150 Plusliner and Transnasional Coaches. Cur- rently, the RM20 million’s project is 30% com- plete,” said KTB Executive Director and Chief
Operating Officer Tengku Hasmadi Tengku Hashim during the launch.
A seven inch Android powered touch screen tablet is mounted at every seat back allowing the passenger to watch movies, listen to music, play games, reading news, update Facebook, and even surf the internet while travelling. The system is also equipped with a GPS tracking feature, allowing passenger to locate their current location and the expected arrival time, similar to the in-flight system.
Tengku Hasmadi added that customers can be access to the onboard Wifi with their own internet-enabled devices, and the company is offering complimentary usage of up to 50MB of data. Additional charges are required for those who need to increase the data cap.
“We will be packaging this service for Nice bus passengers as part of our value-added services, thus there the bus fares will remain the same. However, as the Plusliner and Transna- sional coaches fairs are low, passengers will have to pay for the service if they would like to use it.”
