MAN Malaysia Managing Director Andrew O’Brooks explained that the New MAN Truck Generation was a transformational product that marked the evolution of MAN Truck & Bus from a vehicle manufacturer to a provider of intelligent and sustainable transport solutions.

of the Year 2021 and was the winner of two awards at iF Design Award 2021. The vehicle was also just named ‘Sustainable’ that customers and drivers expect. It com- bines the attributes that are synonymous with MAN Trucks – toughness, durability and reliability – with future-oriented in- novations aimed at simplifying the lives of both business owners and the people behind the wheel,” he added.
Developed with extensive input from driv- ers, the New MAN Truck Generation sets new standards in terms of user-friendli- ness, optimum ergonomics, more intuitive operation and reliable networking with digital devices and applications. There is also optimum space and comfort. All of these elements are geared towards the needs of the drivers who spend much of their lives in the vehicles.
The redesigned smart-looking multi-func- tion steering wheel is smaller than that of the previous generation MAN Trucks. Equipped with airbags as standard for Malaysia, the new steering wheel can now be adjusted from 20° to an almost steering position for drivers of all shapes and sizes.
