曼将以全新TGE 进入轻型商用车市场
曼商用车公司将通过推出新的轻型商用车，扩 充它目前已经相当丰富的产品线，成为能够 提供从3吨到44吨全系列商用车的制造商。
曼轻型商用车TGE由大众商用车开发，并基于大众商用 车现有产品Crafter打造，未来这两款商用车都将在位 于波兰的弗热希尼亚(Wrzesnia)新建工厂生产。这项 合作将为两个品牌带来战略性的意义。曼TGE将在2016 年IAA汉诺威国际商用车展上全球首发，并在 2017年正 式上市。
据曼首席执行员得瑞斯(Joachim Drees)表示:“曼 轻型商用车的发布，将带领我们进入一个全新的商业领 域。许多曼的用户在他们的重型商用车队中一直缺少一 款轻型商用车，因此曼 TGE将会是对于现有车型的一个 重要补充。我们深知客户的需求并熟知他们的领域，我 们将提供的解决方案和车身，将可与他们的需求和应用 完美契合。我们的专业服务和广泛的解决方案，将使我 们得以在轻型商用车领域制定标准。我相信曼TGE的到 来一定会让广大客户兴奋不已。”
在不久的将来，曼说，这将使其轻卡至重卡客户能够从 单一来源取得销售、维护及修理服务。除了经典的箱式 卡车，曼TGE还将提供特种车身解决方案，例如建筑、 市政及消防用车。曼表示，它将延伸与车身制造商已确 立及获得证实的商业关系。
MAN to Enter Light Commercial Vehicle Market with New TGE
MAN Truck & Bus is extending its already comprehen- sive range of vehicles with the introduction of a new light commercial van and becoming a full range sup- plier offering commercial vehicles between 3 and 44 tonnes. Designated as MAN TGE, the new range of MAN light com- mercial vehicles was developed by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and would be built together with its twin Volkswagen Crafter in the newly-completed plant in Wrzesnia, Poland. This cooperation is expected to create strategic benefits in acquir- ing new groups of customers for both brands. The MAN TGE would be presented at the IAA 2016 and would be available from 2017.
According to MAN Truck & Bus CEO Joachim Drees, many MAN customers need vehicles of this category: "By launching the MAN light commercial vehicle positioned below our MAN TGL light truck range, we are entering a new business area. Many of our customers with heavy commercial vehicles in their fleets have a requirement for light commercial vehicles as well, so the MAN TGE constitutes a smart enhancement to our al- ready established vehicle range. We know exactly what our customers need and which areas they operate in, and the ve- hicle solutions and bodies we will offer them will be a perfect fit to their needs and applications. Professional service and also a wide range of solutions from our well established truck busi- ness will set standards in this weight range and I'm sure the customers of our light commercial vehicles will be very excited by their introduction as well."
In the near future, MAN says this would enable its customers to access all the sales, maintenance and repair services from a single source, from light commercial vehicles up to heavy trucks. Beside the classic box trucks, MAN would also offer special vehicle body solutions. An example is the construc- tion or municipal vehicles of fire engines. The company says it would extend its long-established and proven business rela- tions with vehicle body builders.
