AMH D’Gala Dinner
马来西亚运输公会D’Gala 晚宴

The Association of Malaysian Hauliers (AMH) held its annual ‘D’Gala Nite’ at the Setia City Convention Centre, Shah Alam on 2nd September. Officiated by Tan Sri Dr Syed Hamid Albar, Chairman of the Public Land Transport Com- mission (SPAD), and Datuk Che Azizuddin Che Ismail, President of AMH, the event was well attended by about 1,000 guests.
Before the dinner there was an exhibition that saw active participation from the industry, including many established brands such as Scania, which was a platinum sponsor of the event, Hap Seng Star, the authorised dealer of Mercedes Benz and Mitsubishi Fuso, Isuzu, Hino and Volvo, just to name a few.
“We have planned a wonderful evening starting with a pre-event held earlier, in which the latest trucks were displayed and a fun filled driving competition was held amidst a carnival atmosphere. To delight you further for the next couple of hours we have lined up various non-stop entertainment and lucky draws while you dine in style with a 9-course dinner,” said Organising Chairman Vissnu s/o Rengasamy.
Meanwhile, Datuk Che Azizuddin urged all the AMH’s members to be well-prepared and opened to change to meet the new challenges and competition. “We must up- grade ourselves, so that we are able to serve the Asean region when the Asean Economic Community (AEC) comes into force.”

马来西亚运输公会(AMH)于9 月2日假沙亚南Setia City 会议中心，主办一年一度 的“D’Gala Nite”。这个由陆路公 共交通委员会主席丹斯里赛哈密(Tan Sri Dr Syed Hamid Albar)和马来西 亚运输公会主席拿督采艾兹朱尼(Da- tuk Che Azizuddin Che Ismail)共 同主持开幕的晚宴，吸引了大约1，000 名嘉宾。
晚宴前的展会成功获得业界的积极支持 与参与，其中不乏知名品牌如该活动的 白金赞助商—斯堪尼亚、马赛地和三菱 扶桑授权经销商Hap Seng Star、五十 铃、日野及富豪等。
“我们精心策划了一个美妙的夜晚，从 晚宴前的展会和活动，让与会者在充满 嘉年华的气氛中看到最新卡车和参加 乐趣无穷的驾驶竞赛。在接下来的好几 个小时里，除了享用9道菜的套餐，我 们还为大家准备了各种不同的娱兴节目 和幸运抽奖单元。”筹委会主席维什努 (Vissnu s/n Rengasamy) 表示。
与此同时，拿督采艾兹朱尼呼吁该公会 会员做好准备，开放地面对改变，以应 付新挑战和竞争。“我们必须提升自 己，以便我们能够在东盟经济共同体落 实时，为东盟区域服务。”
