                   Dongfeng Trucks Enters World Market
Dongfeng Trucks is a leading truck brand in China and pro- duces heavy and medium duty trucks. In September 2014, Dongfeng Trucks will make its first appearance at the 65th IAA Exhibition in Hanover. The company will display three trucks at the show: Dongfeng KX, Dongfeng KL and Dongfeng KR.
The parent company, Dongfeng Group, is currently ranked 113th in the Fortune 500 list of companies with a revenue of US$74 billion.
Dongfeng originates from the Chinese culture and is developed based on trust, craftsmanship and well proven global techniques. Its product range consists of four different models: Dongfeng KX, a new truck for fast and efficient long haul operations; Dongfeng KL for heavy long haul and regional distribution; Dongfeng KL for heavy construction, mining and other off-road operations; and Dongfeng KR, a medium truck for regional and local distribution as well as construction operations.
“By participating in the IAA, Dongfeng Trucks will reinforce the awareness of our brand and products and further develop partner- ships around the world,” says Gary Huang, President of Dongfeng Trucks. “Besides, Dongfeng Trucks will be represented by an entry
in the 2014-2015 Volvo Ocean Race, which we have taken as part of our global marketing strategy.”
Dongfeng Trucks has established marketing and service networks in Southeast Asia, Africa, South America as well as Eastern Europe. The company continues to expand its worldwide sales and service network in new markets.
