Raya joy with MAN at JB Official Opening

MAN Truck & Bus Malaysia (MTBM) had a grand start to mark the official opening of the MAN Service Centre Johor on August 23. It was also a Raya celebration and among the guests were officers from SPAD, business partners, staff and well- wishers, including some young orphans from Pusat Kebajikan Shan DE.
On hand to welcome the guests were Managing Director Hartmut Mueller and the staff, including Dirk Szusgien, Head of After Sales, Dinesh Nair, Gen- eral Manager of Sales & Marketing, and Azman Bin Jaafar, the JB Service Manager.
In his welcome address, Mueller said MTBM had selected Johor because of the state’s fast-paced growth and the rising need for heavy vehicles in tandem with the economy.

the oil and gas project and petrochemi- cal industries in Pengarang and Tanjung Bin meant greater transport and logistics needs, he added.
Therefore, Johor was a strategic area for MAN and with its presence in the south- ern region, customers were able to get maintenance and service for their vehi- cles nearby. This would help to ensure the vehicles delivered optimum performance and better fuel efficiency, besides making them safe and roadworthy.
He stressed that MAN was renowned globally for the reliability and efficiency of its commercial vehicles and on-going R&D ensured better fuel efficiency and cleaner engines that would benefit own- ers and the environment.
He hoped that customers in the south would take advantage of the MAN Service Centre JB as it was there to serve them.
The launch event also saw various activi- ties for the children.
