“我们所运送的产品是属于易腐坏的类型,因此我们的分布 系统必须是毫无瑕疵的,以便我们能够准时将货品送给客 户。对我们来说车子的可靠性和耐用性是最为重要的,我们 自2011年起就开始使用扶桑卡车,并对它在这两方面的表 现,从满信心。”
为了应付这个挑战,张美娴说Bengteng卡车王选择了扶桑。 选择该品牌的原因主要是因为其核心品牌价值如可靠的品 质、安全性、燃油效率及环保的设计。
“我们的新扶桑Canter卡车不曾有过重大故障。我们在扶桑 卡车上所做的投资很轻易地就因为它较长的服务间隔、耐 用的零部件及最低的维修需求而回收。新加坡政府提高了入 境柴油车子的排放标准,然而有了新的Canter,我们无需担 心,因为它搭配低排放的干净引擎。再者,扶桑的售后服务 非常好。”
Bengteng卡车王对能够与马来西亚的主要食品业者保持良好 的关系,感到无比骄傲。在他们的主要客户中,包括了肯 德基和Ayam Dindings。“此外,为了符合不断增加的清真 (Halal)运输需求,我们也是其中一家能够提供清真食品运 输服务的公司。”她说。据她透露,该公司的成功秘诀是他 们能够提供无与伦比的弹性和效率。

由于食品业相当大和多样化,张美娴说,他们无意向其他的 领域进军,因为在大马的食品物流业中仍然有许多商机。
为了配合该公司的扩展,Bengteng卡车王在其办公室旁设立 了一个新的维修厂。“拥有自己的维修厂使我们能够处理 基本的维修和简单的修理,以及在紧急的情况下进行修理工 作。它也让我们得以节省时间和成本,协助我们尽快让卡车 返回路上。”她补充说。

Hence, the reliability and durability of the vehicle is of utmost importance to us and we have no doubts in Fuso trucks as we have been using them since 2011.”
Addressing this challenge, Chong said Bengteng Truckking had chosen Fuso due to its core brand values such as trust- ed quality, safety, fuel efficiency and environment friendly design.
“With the new Fuso Canter trucks, we had never encountered major breakdowns. Our investment in Fuso trucks can be eas- ily paid-off due to their longer service intervals, durable parts and minimal maintenance requirements. The Singapore gov- ernment has tightened the emission standards for diesel ve- hicles entering the country, and with the new Canter, we have no worries as it comes with a low emission clean engine.In addition, Fuso provides very good after-sales service.”
Bengteng Truckking took pride in having excellent relationships with the key players in the Malaysian food industry. KFC and Ayam Dindings were some of its major customers. “In addi- tion, we are one of the transporters based on ‘Halal’ concept in meeting the needs of the increasing demand by our clients,” said Chong. The secret of the company’s success, according to Chong, was the unrivalled flexibility and efficiency that the com- pany provided.
“Our transport network ensures that we deliver our cus- tomer’s products at their freshest. We work closely with our customers in understanding their requirements and business challenges, and maintaining good relationships with them. To ensure effective and efficient delivery, we are constantly replacing our old trucks with new ones. From the beginning of this year till today, we have purchased 7 new trucks from Fuso. We have great confidence in Fuso and believe that it isthe right partner for our expansion. We plan to purchase another 5 trucks from the company.”
As the food industry was quite big and diverse, Chong said Bengteng Truckking had no intention to venture into other seg- ments as there was still ample opportunity in the Malaysian food logistics industry.
To complement its expansion in the industry, Bengteng Truckking set up a new maintenance facility adjoining its of- fice. “Having our own workshop enables us to undertake ba- sic maintenance and simple repairs, as well as carry out im- mediate repairs in emergencies. It allows us to save time and cost,and help us to get our truck back on the road as soon as possible,” she added.
