Danny Ng, Senior General Manager of Angka-Tan Motor Sdn Bhd
Danny Ng was named the new Senior Gen- eral Manager of Angka-Tan Motor Sdn Bhd (ATM), effective from 1st April 2014. Ng was formerly the General Manager with the Bus Division of Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd (TCIE). In his new role, Ng is responsible for marketing and sales, operations as well as the ad- ministration of ATM.
“It is a totally new challenge for me. When I was in TCIE, I was only in charge of the bus segment. Now I am responsible for all of ATM’s departments. The collaboration of ATM and Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd ( Foton) since 2009 has brought one of the most successful and proven China-made com- mercial vehicles to the Malaysian market, from the Bison Savanna pick-ups and light trucks to the Au- man prime movers, on and off-road dump trucks, tippers and cement mixer trucks,” said Ng.
Although Ng was not involved in the truck market in TCIE, Ng was in fact a truck guy for more than 10 years. “I was selling Tata trucks before I joined TCIE in 2001. As the Kuala Lumpur Branch Head of TCIE, my experience in truck sales accumulated further because I had to sell the whole range of

从2014年4月1日起,黄杰星被委任为Angka-Tan汽车私人有限公 司(ATM)资深总经理。之前是陈唱工业设备私人有限公司 (TCIE)巴士部门总经理的黄杰星,在接任后将负责ATM 的 营运、行政、市场营销及销售。
“这对我来说是个全新的挑战。我在陈唱工业设备的时候只需要负责 巴士部门,但我现在却必须负责Angka-Tan汽车私人有限公司的所有部 门。我们与北汽福田汽车私人有限公司自2009年合作以来,使我们得 以将最成功和已获证实的中国商用车带入马来西亚市场。从Savanna皮 卡到欧曼(Auman)牵引车、公路和非公路翻斗车、自卸车至水泥搅拌 机。”黄杰星表示。
虽然黄杰星在陈唱工业设备任职时没有涉及卡车市场,但他在卡车业务 方面拥有超过10年的丰富经验。“我在2001年加入陈唱工业设备以前, 曾经售卖过嗒嗒(Tata)卡车。任职为陈唱工业设备吉隆坡的分行经理 后,让我得以进一步累计卡车销售经验,因为我必须销售公司所有的产 品,包括卡车。”
黄杰星透露说,他的当务之急是巩固售后服务,确保零部件的取得,为 客户提供快速和有效的维修,以及协助客户降低停工时间。
“即使中国品牌已经逐渐打入大马的市场,但是却还未被广泛地接受。
